My 17 year old wants a dress like this for prom and it’s taking all my strength not to be the mom that says “if you think you’re leaving the house in that trashy….” I’ve ordered three others in the hopes that she’ll decide that a lace lined corset is not actually comfortable. The idea that a full grown women who can afford any dress would choose this for a formal state dinner is bizarre.

OrdiNrily I love things with a floral pattern but Naomi looks like she’s wearing a tent from the cherry blossom festival.
Overall this is disappointing especially given the Japanese state dinner is usually great fashion and spring chrrry blossom just begs for some fun pretty looks.

Hillary’s dress is too cosplay. It looks very comfortable and the colors are appropriate (unlike Harris) but it is more like a costume than a formal gown for a dinner for a head of state.
