APS - Who is running for School Board?

I can't get past her resume padding, personally.

I am an APS teacher and parent and I did 1) Sandy, 2) David, 3) Steven, 4) Cristina, and 5) Terron

I watched the ATS/Key forum last night and was disappointed that only Terron and Cristina addressed COVID-19 dead on. I was thinking Sandy and David but he hardly had answers for several questions. I like Steven's position on the school moves but do not think he's much of a leader. Cristina's youth bothered me at first but at least works in education and had detailed responses last night. I'm not sure why Terron is running. If my husband I ever get out ballots, I'm going 1) Sandy 2) Cristina 3) David 4) Terron 5) Steven.

I did Sandy 1 and Terron 2. Didn’t rank the others, as I don’t want any of them on SB.

I don't think there is any point ranking beyond three. Maybe not even beyond 2.

I am 1) David 2) Sandy. I'm not really thrilled about Cristina, but I would actually pick her over Steven or Terron. However, I'm not sure it's worth ranking that far.

Steven keeps saying that we should vote for him because his kids are little. All that means to me is that he has no clue what happens with APS in the upper grades.

I am 1) Sandy 2) Cristina 3) David. After looking at all of their websites, I think Sandy and Cristina are best prepared for the chaos next year. I've met David and like him personally. I don't think I'll rank past that.

How is Christina prepared for anything? She has almost no substantive experience beyond a few years as a consultant. She has never managed or supervised anything of note

Christina has absolutely nothing to offer a community she’s lived in less than our kindergarteners. Her false resume and overinflated sense of experience are a huge turnoff.

I think part of it is that Cristina is articulate and a good speaker. That doesn't mean she's qualified. Her resume is paper thin.

Priddy's not as good on the debate stage, but he's a good listener and really gathers information before making decisions.

That's why I would pick him over Cristina every time.

My opinion is mostly based on the websites the Arlington democrats are advertising. She and Sandy are the only people with substance posted. That doesn't mean either will be great leaders, but at least they seem to know what they are talking about. So long as it isn't Steven.

Interesting, I find Cristina sounds incredibly whiny and immature. Every time I hear her speak it makes me cringe. She’s loud, but not a good speaker.

Krieger just made the rookie mistake of trying to engage on AEM. Poor guy.

Anyone else get unsolicited phone calls from Christina backers this week?

Krieger is coming off as a total ass on AEM right now. Dude, don't tout your resume in Arlington. Every other person has an advanced degree. No one is impressed with you.

Well he finally wised up and signed off. That was not a pretty set of exchanges. He never should have tried to engage in that forum, which shows all the more that he's not ready for SB.
