Car companies in America have dropped their best selling models in favor of electrics and hybrids. Many dealers dropped the brand rather than retrofit their showrooms to carry electrics.

Would a car company really drop a best selling model when they are most concerned with good quarterly numbers?

Why would a showroom need to be “retrofitted” to have an EV on the floor?

On the bright side for Trump fans - if you had $200K in a S&P mutual fund today, you lost $9,700 today. And, you look to lose another $30,000 over the next two weeks. But, maybe that trans kid in Utah won’t get to play JV softball this year. So - an even trade.

I just did a quick check of the the websites of most of the major news outlets in the world and all of them have main page/giant/leading headlines about the tariffs/stock market/recession fears EXCEPT for Fox News. On the Fox News site, the huge lead story on the main page is about a teenager killed at a track meet (tragic obviously, but...really) - what an absolute propaganda CLOWN SHOW Fox News is. I realize this is not new information, nor is it surprising. Just sharing.

There is a Supreme Court case that said everything the legislature does has to be like passing a bill. Had to do with line-item veto or something like that.

DP. They did drop popular models because of electric mandates. As far as the "retrofit" manufacturers were requiring chargers on site, different areas for electric vehicles, etc. The Ford requirements cost a dealer @$2Million.
