| The committee couldn't have interviewed Ginni Thomas already, could they? Thomas supposedly said she was open to an interview. |

I would hope they depose her because she will be a clown show. I suspect it could be Mo Brooks. He has a bone to pick with Trump and could be extremely illuminating about Trump knowing that he lost but was doing any/everything to stay in power. Maybe Cippolone but I doubt he will voluntarily appear. |

On a scale of what to what? For those of us who understood from the day of the insurrection (and before, let’s be honest) and who read the revelations as they came in, what more needs to be said? How much more disturbing can facts get? The GOP tried to overthrow the government and many of them knew it ahead of time. Dark money is fueling this, just the same as it fueled the takeover of the Supreme Court into a religious tribunal. |

I generally assume that Republicans’ version of what the country should be is so effed relative to what most normal people believe that they actually think their dystopian vision is what most people want. |

Thanks! I watched the hearings and really like this person's voice and style, but I hadn't noticed the wall behind him. Probably because he himself is so interesting. |

I fervently hope the Jan 6th committee has correctly prepared and rehearsed their presentation tomorrow. Part of their wild success as a televised hearing is that it's been choreagraphed, with the help of a former ABC news producer. So I get there's some urgency to tomorrow's hearing, but it must not come at a presentation cost. The content is highly palatable in part because of the production value. |
