Sure, you are

This is a joke, right? LOL |
Racism at its finest. |
Unbelievable. You have no right to tell me how I should act or how I should feel because of my skin color. |
Thank you. I am blacker than most black people but I am not black. Who am I? Can I have my own savior too? Who profess to understand how I feel about everything... |
Wokes: "Listen to black people." Black Person: Says something unwoke Wokes: "REEEEEEEEEEE!" |

Show me a validated survey of Montgomery County residents that shows most people of color don’t feel safe about police in general or SROs in particular. Otherwise, you are talking out your ***. |
MCPS is not allocating any more money to mental health professionals and guards. SRO's are funded differently as they are police. And, security guards and therapist aren't going to fix this problem alone. Be real. This problem is far bigger than that. People keep using minorities as the talking points. In MCPS, in many schools the minorities are the majority. |
What are you rambling about? How do you know the skin color of another poster? |
I see you don't have kids in MCPS otherwise you would have known. You think the kids who spoke at the BOE regarding SROs are not valid? Oh, you probably didn't know about that. |
NP here. You don’t address the PP’s point. The request is for data (a survey of students or MoCo residents, for example) that demonstrates widespread feelings about SROs. Your response that a few students talked to the BOE doesn’t fit the bill. The only true data we received is that 100% of principals wanted to keep SROs. (Yes, I did watch the BOE meetings.) |
I do. And he's been assaulted twice since school started. The kids who spoke at the BOE are valid but they are a tiny minority of students. They just happen to be very vocal. But they do not represent all students. Not in any way, shape or form. |
If your child has been assaulted twice, TWICE since school started, why on earth wouldn't you want SRO's in the school. Or, better, why are you keeping your child at a school that they've been repeatedly assaulted and its only mid-November. There is no way my kid would go back after the first assault, let alone the second. |
