| What would be your "extra" commuter vehicle of choice? Something fun? Healthy (like biking)? Etc.... |
| walk |
| and uber/lyft in bad weather. |
| From where to where? And what is the first choice if this is extra? |
| Bike. That's such a short distance. |

I don’t understand the question. I WFH and drive kids to school within 2 miles. I drive a Honda Accord.
|
| I walk, and the bus is my backup choice. Hoverboard could be fun or rollerskates. |
| An electric car, if you need to drive it. It's rough on a gas engined car since the engine doesn't have time to fully warm up before you turn it off. |
Same here. It is so short you won’t even need to shower. I’d also walk. |
| Bike as primary commute. I'd kill for 2 miles. |
|
Segway!
But in real life, walk or bike. And drive in bad weather or if I had to look particularly good when I arrived. |
| Walk or bike would work. The younger people might scooter. |
| Walk or bike. I don't understand why anyone would want to drive that distance regularly - in crappy rainy weather, sure, but otherwise it feels nice to be outside. |
|
hah. This is my commute, but I have a new Honda Odyssey. DH has a longer commute so he has a small car. We like that my commute doesn't put miles on the larger road tripping car.
I can't walk or bike because there aren't side walks and I'd have to cross a highway. I also have to do daycare pickup, so I assume you bikers aren't doing daycare pick up or drop off or have older kids. |
