| It is gorgeous! So jealous! Lucky girl! |
Jealous why? A ring is not a statement of worth, value, or any of it. It’s just a big rock, that came from the ground like all other rocks. Maybe his family had to give a dowry of goats and land as well? When she’s raised her children, happily, with husband by her side, and endured many years of both happiness and loss, then please post here about your sentiments. Because until then, it’s just a bauble. |
Oh, please! Lighten up. |
| Size of diamond is inversely related to how long marriage lasts |
Lol jealous much? |
Yes, anyone who finds a 4 karat diamond pointless and excessive must certainly be jealous
|
Actually, the tip-off was three paragraphs and the mention of a dowry. |
| That’s a lot of carbon that has had its price inflated by an international cartel. |
| Can she produce evidence that it is cruelty free? I really don't understand the big deal. Especially when so much suffering is involved in procuring it. |
| Lol |
Yes, absolutely. Let me guess... you got 1/10 ct? |
Oh come on. This sounds like a statement that jealous women make. |
| I think I’d be less jealous about the diamond and more about the salary or wealth that can afford a ring that pricey. |
| I have a recently re-married friend who’s DH proposed with a 4+ carat ring. The prenup negotiations almost nixed the wedding |
|
What’s a 4 ct ring cost? I’d either be impressed with their earnings to be able to afford it, or worried that their sense of financial planning is really distorted.
I’d also think that would completely overwhelm most peoples’ hands. |
