Where do you consider MCPS high schools on a scale of good-bad

| Curious about this since everyone thinks about different schools differently. If there was a chart with 5 different tiers, 1 being the best 5 being the worst, where would you put every MCPS high school? Everyone has a different opinion and I'm honestly so curious! |

Tier 1 Churchill Whitman BCC WJ Tier 2 Wootton Poolesville QO Sherwood Tier 3 Damascus RM Blair Clarksburg Tier 4 Northwest Magruder Rockville Blake Tier 5 All other schools. I would send my kids to any school in tiers 1-3. We need more posts like this!!! |

This is a list of schools based on SES. That's it, and has nothing to do with quality of the teachers or programs at the school. And why would QO and Sherwood be ranked higher than RM? |

| My kids turned out great from RM non-magnet. Since they never attended any other schools I don't think my opinions would be too accurate. |

School quality is directly related to wealth of the neighborhood, as long as most children living there go to public. So just go by real estate prices, OP

Most kids would do about the same in most of the schools. The list is meaningless and is nothing more than a reflection of SES than anything else. |

SES, you say? Sherwood has 15% FARMs; RM has about 19%. QO has a higher number - around 21%. |

WJ (only to keep levels even), Sherwood, Damacus, Blake down one level. |
