| It was actually really nice out today in DC. I walked my DS to school and saw like 2 puddles of ice? Then I went for a jog and bike ride and enjoyed the sunny morning. |

Today was hard because the 2-hour delay wasn't quite enough to finish clearing upcounty, but it almost was. 3-hour delay would probably have been enough but they can't do that because it doesn't leave enough time for serving lunch. |

I read that. It sounds like they went out of their way to find "icy spots" thirty miles away from Bethesda in the countryside. Lol. |

It was probably actually really nice in Miami, too, but conditions in Miami also aren't relevant to school-closing decisions in Montgomery County. |

| How many delays have we had? I usually write them in my calendar. I know one on 1/15 but I feel like there was an earlier one. |

| That was the only one. There have been two others (11/15 and this morning) that started out as 2-hour delays and then changed to closed. |
