Grey is appropriate if it's weather appropriate and all you have to wear. Homegirl is known for her coats. She could have easily worn a black one. Stay classy Melania. |
| I don’t care about the gray coat I have to say. I hate her but she looks fine, whatever. |
I do think it’s weird that she’s wearing a coat indoors but I don’t care about that either. I don’t think it’s exactly inappropriate to do so for a church service if you’re cold, no? Or at least it’s not a rule I care about particularly. |
| DId we forget she always wore coats? Even in the summer? |
She was nearly indicted. That means they had enough info on what she’d done wrong. She may not say much it her actions speak volumes. You don’t get a pass for keeping your mouth shut while you hurt Democracy. This SNL skit gets to the heart of the matter: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F7o4oMKbStE |
What does any of that have to do with her weak chin, though? Can’t you criticize her as a person, criticize her actions, without making it about her bone structure? |
This whole family has been filleted and reshaped in every possible way. If she has this chin it's because she wants it - they all pay for whatever body parts they aren't born with. I think the coat is fine. A little casual, black would be better, but it's fine. Weird she's wearing it indoors but at least it doesn't say "I"M GLAD YOUR DED" on the bacl |
Haha I loled |

I’d also like to point out in Melania’s defense that it’s absolutely savage how Mrs Carter apparently instructed everyone to make sure to invite her even though they all dislike her and to be sure to tell the press how magnanimous it was. I might not take my coat off either 😂.
Team Carter obvi but the quotes are amazing. One person was like “I gave her a hug” like it’s Princess Diana with aids patients. I loled. |

I think the coat is fine but it’s a little funny because if there is one thing we learned about Melania during 4 years is that she has a LOT of coats, in what seemed like every color and cut. I don’t like her much but I loved a lot of her coats. I posited much earlier in this thread that there was a whole room at her parents alleged McMansion in Potomac just filled with her coats, and I did wonder what happened to them after they left. I thought they would auction them to pay legal bills. To be fair, she lives in south Florida now and probably the costs are all off in storage somewhere. Apparently not with the classified docs at Maralago because they weren’t in the photos though.
I’ve also wondered if she has anemia or a thyroid problem in that she wore coats and gloves so often inside. As someone who is perpetually freezing, it is the one thing I think I have in common with her. |
Me too |
B Clinton is near to warm her up. |
What are you talking about? Rosalynn Carter was 96 years old with dementia. I doubt that any part of her final life stage planning involved her actively thinking about or being petty over Melania Trump. |
Everyone isn't petty like you. Stop projecting. |

“Carter’s family said she specifically wanted Melania Trump to know she was invited to the service. In a time of division, she hoped all the first ladies would join in a show of solidarity as her farewell tribute.”
“ “She said sweet things about my mother,” said Chip Carter, the Carters’ son, in an interview. “She thanked us for getting an invitation and we thanked her for coming — and I gave her a hug.”” It’s nice and normal but also super mean. They didn’t have to say anything about it. They would obviously never say these things about inviting Michelle Obama. I hate her, and she and her husband have done real harm to civility that created this situation in the first place. I’m just saying I’m sure it was an uncomfortable afternoon for her. |
