So in 48 hours, we're going to be hearing about how the Iranians are begging for a deal and great progress has been made.

I rather hear that than civilian infrastructures being destroyed like hospitals, schools etc…
If Trump goes too far in bombing Iran, my fear is that China and Russia will intervene. Up to now I don't think any nation has stood up to our dear leader, but how long will they watch us punch Iran in the face. For the future of humanity, someone please 25A this maniac.

I think they are already helping Iran covertly with real time satellite imagery and targeting help.

I believe Russian are certainly helping with intel. Iran hit all the Mossad spots in the Me from Dubai to Israel. Unless there are Israeli citizens spying for Iran, which I don’t doubt, I am going to assume Russia has more inroads inside the Israeli administration and society than China

Ok, not the same, so where is the outrage of censorship from the right?

The US and Israel want to hide the casualties and the destruction because they’re shocked Iran was able to overpower them and they’re also shocked that there was no regime change with people screaming in the streets. Iran takes very good care of their people (education, healthcare, public safety). Their government does not owe trillions of dollars to their taxpayers and foreign nations. Half of their country isn’t overweight or mentally ill or broke with no savings. Most of the people there have no trouble post college because there are no loans to pay and certainly no 50 year mortgages. We need to focus on our own backyard

I’m more fearful of Israel or the US using a tactical nuke once the interceptors are totally dry and Iran is striking Israel at their leisure. It already seems like a lot are getting through.
I read that we are moving most of our remaining long range guided bombs to striking range of Iran. We can punch them in the face for a long time.

We're leaving ourselves vulnerable in the rest of the world. Forget about Taiwan. Will we even be able to rebuild when China controls all the rare earths and little stuff we need to make new interceptors and everything else we're using to destroy a nation? The May meeting with Jingping is gonna be a humbling experience.

Yes, both Russia and China have seized the opportunity to weaken the US - through both intelligence sharing and supplying Iran with drones and so on. Iran, Russia, China, and North Korea are all coalescing into a bloc, which is not good news.

We wouldn't be here if Trump and Hegseth had more than two brain cells. All the repercussions from the US and Israel going to war on Iran were extremely predictable. There are very good reasons why Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, Obama, and Biden never went to war with Iran. It's an unwinnable war. You can't defeat geography. Iran is as big as Alaska and just as mountainous. And it has 92 million people with an advanced military and a messianic government that loves them some martyrdom. Even W during his Axis of Evil moment knew not to touch Iran.

But MAGA is going to MAGA. Dumbasses.

But don't slow the flow of oil by even a few barrels a day!

This admin actually lifted oil sanctions on a country we are at war with. Think about that for a second. If they are that averse to slowing the flow of oil, how can they afford to finish Iran? I got 50/50 the whole thing is taco'd.

Let Trump and Hesgeth know if you have a plan, because all they have left are war crimes. They can't get to the regime or military any more.

Yikes, has the US ever intentionally killed its own soldiers before? I know it's protocol for Israel

Ok, Israel. Go ahead and put the IDF in Tehran.

Israel has zero strategic import for the US. Before this war, the Strait of Hormuz was open. The GCC countries were all good and happily exporting. Iran's nuclear program was contained. And the world had a reliable source for oil, natural gas, and fertilizer.

So finish what, exactly? Everything the US and Israel has done has made the world significantly worse. And there's no way out. But we don't need Israel. It's a totally useless country in 2026. The US has no need to fight Israel's dumb wars.

US sacrificed soldiers in Iran to distract from the Epstein files, inflation, widespread corrupt in his Cabinet, and myriad other Trump failures and crimes.

China? The same country that has massacred ethnic Uyghurs with zero complaints from the same morons now virtuously moaning about “poor Iran”?

And Russia? The same country who bombed Ukraine mercilessly?

Please. They’re not about to “intervene” on behalf of their terrorist friends in Iran.

Why do you keep repeating that Iran is a terrorist?

The Islamic Republic of Iran is absolutely a terrorist state that also sponsors terrorist proxies Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, and others. I'm sorry it distresses you to admit facts.

Hegseth believes the same

Sure. Totally the same. What an idiotic comment. Hegseth has plenty of issues but trying to equate the oppressive and authoritarian terrorist regime of Iran to a dopey guy is just insanity.
DP

Do you know how many oppressive and authoritarian terrorist regimes that are worse than Iran and are there in that region as our friends? So many including Israel. Iran compared to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and Jordan is 100x better. At least Iran holds elections and has actual presidents not kings. The line of ayatollahs and Islamic theocratic government thing is not going to change even if we kill millions of people. What we are doing there is a pointless effort. They don’t want rainbow flags and feminism. Women and gays there don’t even want it. They think the West is too decadent and showy. They like their lives there. Who are we to play Superman to people who didn’t ask us to be saved? Why is Israel painting this as an altruistic humanitarian effort? There’s nothing humanitarian about roasting people to death with bombs. They should know
