Don’t care about them enough to hate them.

Well damn good thing you don’t else you’ll be stalking these people trying to cause them physical harm. People life is way to fickle to put so much negative energy out there.

They still have wealth and access beyond most Americans. Their son will never want for anything. We’re in a pandemic where people have lost their lives, jobs, businesses, access to education and healthcare, and they are whining about how badly they had it? Sorry, we’re not buying it.

And, that’s what makes them boring and irrelevant.

They’re definitely not boring. We’re all interested in her narcissistic machinations and the free fall of his reputation from its zenith as a military “hero” in Afghanistan.

They don’t quite seem to be irrelevant, which is baffling given their lack of tangible attributes.

My interest in them stems from pure (anticipatory) schadenfreude. Such privileged lives and yet they both whine. This train wreck is bound to happen and most of us won't be able to tear our eyes away when it does!

I think differently
They are not in line for the throne, let them live their lives. Why sacrifice themselves for that?

NP. I look at them as any other celebrity couple making a series of astoundingly bad choices. The royal angle is just another part of it, a really juicy one admittedly.

Yes. Britany Spears, Lindsey Lohan and GOOP rolled into one. So spoiled and so whiny and out of touch! Millions of Americans missed their mortage and rent payments, but here she and he are whining about how badly they were treated. And even that is audacity that is tone deaf. We have Black Americans being killed and lynched in 2020, and her complaint is what exactly? If they really wanted to be out of spotlight, that would be one thing. But having her husband trying to "sell" her Disney? Harry is the low class royal due to that.

Mostly agree with this but Andrew is clearly the low class royal.

Andrew is the low class royal for his generation and Harry is the low class royal for his generation.

I was just about to type this. They used to be mildly interesting, but now it's a slow-motion train wreck, and even if you know you shouldn't watch, it's hard to look away.

They could have easily gone to live quiet lives in the British countryside, or quietly gone to live in Montecito, even. We'd never see them except when they chose to show up for the Trooping of the Color, and, after a few years, they'd just be another young family amongst others on the balcony. They have chosen to try to retain, and even increase, their public profile. They want the money and fame, but don't want to do boring ribbon cuttings and tree planting ceremonies. They are the ones who want all the benefits of being royal with none of the sacrifice.

He is. Total criminal that should be in prison.

Two very different things. Harry and Megan are loud and low-class and trashy and desperate for hollywood fame (or his wife is). Andrew is not desperate for fame but rather lurking in the shadows and sleazy and evil.

Also agree here. It's a fascinating train-wreck happening in front of our eyes. It's like passing that accident on the highway. You know you shouldn't look but you do anyway. Harry and Meghan are people who have no meaning nor importance to me but it's still fascinating to watch a pair of incredibly privileged people who once had access to a certain kind of global status and position where they'd truly have been looked up to as great role models and spokesmen instead morph into shallow, social climbing narcissistic (her), dumb and confused (him) couple too blatantly desperate for some kind of materialistic and parasitical Hollywood A-list life that is utterly at odds with their professed desire to "do good."

It is somewhat sad to watch Harry's dramatic fall from a happy-go-lucky guy who clearly had a great love for the outdoors and sporting life and a real touch with many people to ... whatever he is now. I had a term for it but it's impolite to mention it on here.

The divorce is inevitable. Eventually Harry will wake up one day when Meghan's gone too far or become too blatantly obvious and that'll be it.

To be fair, they couldn’t have anticipated the pandemic throwing a monkey wrench into their plans.

The problem is Harry was not particularly bright and he was mentally unstable. That plus being in the limelight is a dangerous combination, as we've seen over and over again.
