He was not an American hero. What did he do to make himself a hero? He was a hateful and racist individual.

Absolutely a hero.

Wow compelling point

I won't speak ill of the dead. But it's a bit of stretch to call this talk show guy a hero. It's insulting to real American heroes.

He was a hero in his bravery if nothing else. He gave his life for his beliefs. A Christian, a patriot, apparently a wonderful husband and father and a leader who believed in the best of what Americans can be.

I feel more sad than angry about this. It doesn’t have to be this way. So many people who deserved recognition and didn’t get it. Though Charlie is now just a pawn to further Trump’s political agenda.

Why can’t both sides agree on this?

We are all safer when we keep guns out of the hands of violent or crazy or otherwise questionable people.

We are all safer if we make it more difficult for people to buy a gun.

Why not start there?

Yup, then when hateful words are used, they won't boil over into stuff like this. The left is terrified of the aggressive right wing J6 types and the right has this pretend fear of the left, and both can be solved by getting guns off the street.

The best thing we can do for Charlie's memory—the REAL way to avenge it, is to solve the problem that he never could take seriously.

I said that up thread.. Of course he didn't. He's very partisan and divisive and this is what MAGA supports.

But, somehow, Dems, who also support tighter gun control and help for the mentally ill, are the ones who are evil.

MAGA are truly sick.

He did lower the flag for the MN lawmakers. Why are you lying?

That was the school shooting. The assassinations were in June.

Thank you!!!

Here's Trump's response to the MN Dem senator shooting

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-call-walz-after-minnesota-shootings-calls-grossly/story?id=122870353

"I think the governor of Minnesota is so whacked out. I'm not calling him," Trump said. "Why would I call him? I could call and say, 'Hi, how you doing?' Uh, the guy doesn't have a clue. He's a mess. I could be nice and call, but why waste time?"

Walz’s team responded later Tuesday to Trump’s comments on Air Force One.

“Gov. Walz wishes that President Trump would be a President for all Americans, but this tragedy isn’t about Trump or Walz. It’s about the Hortman family, the Hoffman family, and the State of Minnesota, and the Governor remains focused on helping all three heal,” said Teddy Tschann, a spokesperson for the Governor.

Don't forget about 2A. This is the result of that as well.

2A is the right to own a gun, not the right to kill people you don’t agree with.

Guns kill.

Guns are inanimate objects that evil people use to kill.

Do spoons make people fat?

The killer would have had a tougher time using a knife at that distance. But you know, 2A.

Like actual politicians who were murdered like the Dem Senators in MN.

Where's the "why are you lying .. Trump did fly the flag at half staff after the MN shooting.. " poster now?

This was a professional job. 200 ft away with that precision? Someone with influence wanted him silenced. I don’t think this is going to turn out to be your standard nutty trans activist with a gun.

+1000

I’m heartbroken about this.

Congratulations, you’ve failed the middle school level analogy quiz. No gun for you.

Next.

Because MAGA knows that a significant portion of their base are violent, crazy, or otherwise questionable. Proud to be deplorable. And they are keen to keep the violence advantage. Leftists are all soy boys and breeding hearts, remember? We hate guns, but somehow we’re all crack shots. Must be the video games.
