Woodson D pole and LB goalie are also playing at LIU (D1) this spring (Freshman) |
bringing this Patriot Conference / Region C breakdown from the fall back to the top of the feed since the season is about to start, think it's pretty accurate. |

agreed. solid initial list/analysis.
Really impressed with Lake Braddock. and excited to see them play. New Goalie has large shoes to fill with LIU grad but kid is strong between the pipes. Rest of poles are stout. LSM is a maniac causing chaos on both sides of the field. I expect him to be MVP for the Bruins and get a lot of calls next fall. Bruins offense is the question mark. If attack can stay disciplined and move the ball, good things can happen. Hero ball and off cage poor shot selection could doom them however. |
| I know scrimmages are just that... and most coaches play their benches in the 2nd half. With hat being said are there any good scrimmages between the top teams that everyone has being discussing on this board. |
2/28 Langley/Potomac School/St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes 3/4 Battlefield/Riverside 3/11 Yorktown/WestPo 3/12 Langley/Urbana Madison/McLean/Indy Robinson/Riverside [u]3/13[u] Yorktown/Whitman |
Think these are the teams that matter. Robinson, Madison, Indy, Langley, Yorktown, Battlefield, WestPo |
Told you Riverside is done... Not even ranked in the top 20. |
They gotta know better than to lose their first playoff game in 6 years last year. How dare they. I say keep them unranked for the entire year! |
Woodson is not that strong this year, I think this comes straight from a Woodson dad… Robo goalie made 2nd team all-region last year behind LB LIU commit, I doubt the Cavalier goalie has made that much of an improvement to close that gap. |
| Langley vs Madison will show a lot about who will dominate this year, this is a very good early game to look at |
| Langley will most likely win due to the amount of returners, but their defense could hold them back. |
I have no horse in this game, but here is how I see it: Madison will drop out and maybe get an HM spot Langley or Robo with be in the 15-20 range with the other being the top HM Indy will be in the 15-20 range and Riverside with be in the 15-20 range. All dependent on how the top privates beat up on each other as to how high a public can climb. I can't comment on the MD publics that may take spots either. |
