| Cloning a drive, installing it in a used laptop, booting it up and salting it with some fake "incriminating" files, and passing it off as a "second" or "third" laptop is something that can easily be done in an afternoon without even needing much technical savvy. |
That is what happened. Someone should do the same for the all the republican leaderships’ children. |
| Another drop from Taibbi. |
Yup. A good one too. Even Baker questioned wtf was going on
|
Never any links, never any proof. Just more right wing smears and innuendo. |
You know what a drop is, right? |
Taibbi's desperation and grasping at straws becomes all the more palpable. |
Is he releasing the details on why Elon banned a bunch of journalists for specious reasons? That would be much more interesting than anything so far. |
The receipt lists 3 Apple Macbooks. |
Files altered and added is confusing a different story about a computer left at his doctor's office. There were files on the repair shop laptop that were later than that, which is evidence that this is not a copy of that laptop. |
Dependa on how one sees it, I guess. What he’s releasing would have terrified liberals years ago, but these are different times. |
Tons of emails released. Proof is there. |
The receipt is questionable as it is contradictory and doesn't make sense. It says 3 but then it also says quantity 1. And nobody does data recovery on 3 machines for $85. That's $28.3333 per machine.
|
Nope. Taibbi also oddly hasn't released any emails about FBI's work with Twitter on foreign influence operations or counterterrorism or any of the rest. I'm pretty sure there are a whole lot more emails about those activities between Twitter and FBI and the IC than there are about the crap that Taibbi is releasing. |
| The more Taibbi and company “drop,” the less coherent the Twitter Files become. |
