Cloning a drive, installing it in a used laptop, booting it up and salting it with some fake "incriminating" files, and passing it off as a "second" or "third" laptop is something that can easily be done in an afternoon without even needing much technical savvy.

How is there "multiple laptops?" The receipt was for ONE laptop.

The receipt lists 3 Apple Macbooks.

There was one laptop. Multiple copies of its drive were made. But a huge problem is that the contents of the various drives are different, and the ones that had forensics done on them show files were altered and added to the drive long after Hunter had it.

Files altered and added is confusing a different story about a computer left at his doctor's office. There were files on the repair shop laptop that were later than that, which is evidence that this is not a copy of that laptop.

The receipt is questionable as it is contradictory and doesn't make sense. It says 3 but then it also says quantity 1. And nobody does data recovery on 3 machines for $85. That's $28.3333 per machine.

Nope. Taibbi also oddly hasn't released any emails about FBI's work with Twitter on foreign influence operations or counterterrorism or any of the rest. I'm pretty sure there are a whole lot more emails about those activities between Twitter and FBI and the IC than there are about the crap that Taibbi is releasing.
