Today is statistically the day that people most people have stopped their resolutions. How’s everyone doing? I started eating better in late September, but committed to continuing after the holidays.
|
| I caved and had a pint of Ben and Jerry's on the 14th. I haven't recovered since. My face is still in the sugary desserts. Sigh. Back to square one. |
| Things are not going well. Made an appt at a medical weight loss center- need to get aggressive |
| I actually had some realizations over Thanksgiving, and started on a weight loss / fitness regime after that holiday. Not every day is perfect, but I'm really happy with my progress. I've lost 14 points, which is about half of my goal. And I definitely feel healthier and stronger than I did two months ago. |

I didn't make any resolutions and won't until March. I just know myself and I know that my body likes to hold on to weight in winter. I'm cold ALL the time. I'm that annoying person who is always, always cold. And I honestly think that this is just how it is with my body, because I drop about 5-10 pounds without any real effort, whatsoever, every spring.
"Know thyself," as they say. But this year, I've tried to be more mindful about eating mostly healthful foods while I'm in this "I'm-not-going-to-limit-intake" phase. Because it's more about my body feeling full/having something to work on right now than craving any one thing, so I might as well fill up on healthful foods rather than junk. |
That sounds like a good start. Has filling up on healthy foods curbed your winter weight? |
Somewhat, and more importantly, I feel better and have more energy. |
| My resolution had nothing to do with weight loss but with devices. Instead of being on my phone mindlessly after dinner I resolved to interact with my kids. Yes we are still all in the family room with the TV on but we have done 5 puzzles and played a game everyday. So far so good. |
| I have kept to my resolution of continuing to exercise at least 4 days/week and eating healthy (from my 2018 resolutions). The only thing I had added is no more booze (or limited booze) for my 2019 list. Still continuing my dry Jan and feel great. |
| I started December 27, but I'm down 4.7 pounds. I had a "middle digit rollover" when I weighed in this morning, which was awesome. |
Yay! I’ve seen the 130s every few days, but can’t seem to get it to sick. |
|
I've been doing pretty well. Down 4 pounds since January 1 and I've gotten some projects around the house taken care of.
Overall, off to a good start. |
Thank you! My view on breaking through that plateau: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzBrI71FC44 |
| Still on it! No (added) sugar or flour since Jan 2. 6lbs down. |
| Doing well. I do not have weight loss goals and my eating habits are very good, so my resolution centered on doing yoga more regularly. I've been able to go to once class a week so far and commit an online class at least once a week. I hope to keep it up! |
