Watching Far and Away, and Tom Cruise basically ruins the movie

As usual, Nicole Kidman does a fine job.

But Tom Cruise ruins it.

They should remake it with actual young cute actors.

Haha that’s what I remember too- it’s been ages since I’ve seen it but it was when he was young and before he got creepy. I loved Tom Cruise back then.

I loved that movie in middle school!

I remember seeing TC & NK on Oprah with Ron Howard (the movie’s director) after school a few days before seeing the movie. A bunch of my classmates (& my French teacher) saw that Oprah,too, & for some now unknown reason got into a long discussion about how they were they were the cutest couple while we were waiting for the bell to ring the next day. Too bad THAT illusion was shattered!

It was always a shit movie. Always.
But he's made up for it since. the MI movies and Jack Reacher movies alone have made a huge difference. He's great and he gives up and coming talent the space to perform.

That’s one of those guilty pleasures, you know it’s bad but it’s good movies that you hate. It’s kind of like watching The Brady Bunch or something now, but not hate watching it, just watching it to enjoy it. There were some good parts.

Just don’t tell me you’re going to watch Days of Thunder next.

He and his scientology are so awful to people that I cannot stand to see him in anything ever. Which is too bad because that ruins a quite a few movies.
