Then he wouldn’t allow her to see her children who he kept in the cult (and they are still today in the cult). Katie Holmes literally escaped in the night with Suri and had all her divorce ducks in a row before she fled.

Whatever. There were very public, persistent rumors about how insane he was with that dangerous cult long before he and Katie got together. If she had real courage and a moral compass, she would not have willingly gotten into that just for money and more fame.

She brought a child into a knowingly dangerous, abusive, dark world. It's not like she needed the money to survive. I have absolutely zero respect for her for saddling an innocent child with that much baggage.

Rather than make her career, it's an open secret that TC tried (and was nearly successful) to sabotage Kidman's career. Her Oscar nom/win performances in The Hours and Moulin Rouge were already in the works at the time of their split. Her next nom came 10 years later for a movie she self-produced (The Rabbit Hole). She didn't have another success until 2017. Only since Big Little Lies (which she optioned and produced with Reese Witherspoon) have the roles started opening up to her (her words). So, took her 17 years to get her career on track.
