Watching Far and Away, and Tom Cruise basically ruins the movie

See I love Far and Away, but I can’t stand Legends Of the Fall. Anthony Hopkins is great but not in that movie.

Then he wouldn’t allow her to see her children who he kept in the cult (and they are still today in the cult). Katie Holmes literally escaped in the night with Suri and had all her divorce ducks in a row before she fled.

I can’t watch any film with him in it and actually see him as his character. I just see Tom Cruise. And when I see Tom Cruise, I see Scientology. I have a sibling in Scientology, so I’m not the biggest fan.

Whatever. There were very public, persistent rumors about how insane he was with that dangerous cult long before he and Katie got together. If she had real courage and a moral compass, she would not have willingly gotten into that just for money and more fame.

She brought a child into a knowingly dangerous, abusive, dark world. It's not like she needed the money to survive. I have absolutely zero respect for her for saddling an innocent child with that much baggage.
