| My thirteen year old son wants to attend a co-ed sleepover. Says the boys and girls will sleep in separate rooms, and the parents will be home. I’m shocked this even exists. He says they are all just friends, and I believe that is likely the case. Still, there is no way I am comfortable with this, and am saying no. Just would love to know if this is common. |
| Nope. |
| I would only agree IF I knew the parents very well and knew they would be heavily supervising. Otherwise NO! |
| Ready to be a 45 year old Grandma? |
|
No way.
-parent of a 17 year old and a 13 year old |
| Yeah, that's a no. I can't believe a parent actually wants to host this. Are they going to be up all night? |
| Hard NO. |
| Ick, no. Op, the fact that you choose to ask makes me wonder about your judgement. |
| No. Been there done that and never a good idea. |
| Tell us more? Is this for NYE? I wouldn’t. |
| No. I had friends at that age to and then they became fwb |
| Hard pass |
| Given what I know my own friends were up to at that age, hell no. |
|
Nope. No way.
Everyone can hang out until 11-12pm, but single sex sleepover only. |
| I'm pretty permissive about stuff, but this would be a hard no from me. I'd offer to pick him up at 11 or midnight or whatever, but not to sleep overnight. |
