Biden’s economy

How will Trump make it better? Tariffs? Hahahahaha. Maybe you'd like some table scraps from the next trickle down tax cut.

Funny, I don't work in either and have had no issues at all.

Another term that could be used for this behavior that Democrats should know well is ‘gaslighting’. And the proper response is to say that when people tell you that they are worse off, believe them.

The silver lining is that if Trump wins, they'll really understand what it's like to be worse off. Then, the Democrats fix the economy again in 2029. Wash, rinse, and history repeats (over and over).

There won't be valid elections after this year if Trump wins, so hoping for democrats to rescue the country in 2029 is vaporware.

A famous quote you hear every four years.

See that's the thing. No previous President has promised to be dictator day 1 or invoke the Insurrection Act against protestors or go after the "enemy within" - you know, those who just happen to be politicians or former administration officials that do not support him and have called out how unfit he is for the office.

I'm not the least bit afraid of Trump and his silly rhetoric. What would concern if he were to be elected to a second term is what would happen during that four years now that our adversaries have seen that he lacks the courage and integrity to stand up when our country is attacked on our soil. Trump didn't have the courage or know how to stand up to a few hundred lunatic American citizens that stormed our Capitol in an attempt to hang our VP. Just imagine how our Chinese and Russian adversaries are licking their chops hoping for the their turn to make Trump cower in the corner and fail to protect the United States and it's people. This matters more than any policy or issue the two sides are squabbling about.

Bidenomics is like Obamacare— they coin it as a slur but it’s something to be proud of

Isn't that everything from the right?

Party of law and order? Yeah, right.
Party of family values? Yeah, right.
Party of fiscal restraint? Yeah, right.

Once again, Trump dregs from the worst of US history to come up with his ideas. Essentially Trump is trying to reestablish the horror of the early 1950's by reframing McCarthyism without mentioning Communism. Joseph McCarthy was a non-descript senator until he decided to make accusations of judicial misconduct in an Army case without any evidence or justification (sound familiar?). McCarthy was also rabidly bigoted, both anti-Semitic and a white national who describ Mein Kampf as "that's the way to do it." The "enemy within" line that Trump uses is literally stolen from Joseph McCarthy in his red scare tactics.

Trump is trying to bring back McCarthyism, just without the references to Communism. He just wants to try and punish his political opponents.

His senility is accelerating and he is more and more of a public danger. Fortunately, he is trending to lose the blue wall states. It is incredible that a near-octogenarian with aged-related senility is actually supported by so many American voters that he could come this close to winning the election.

Between the "soft landing" and the outpaced growth of the US economy, it is unfathomable how the American public believes it is a bad economy that trump can make better. The uS media has simply fallen down. I get it, some grocery items are still expensive...that is capitalism. Do they want a president setting prices and picking winners and losers? Because that is what will happen with Trump, tariffs and the private sector.

The latest reading of the Fed's preferred inflation gauge showed that prices increased largely in line with Wall Street's expectations in September.

The core Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) index, which strips out the cost of food and energy and is closely watched by the Federal Reserve, rose 0.3% from the prior month during September, in line with Wall Street's expectations for 0.3% but above the 0.1% reading seen in August.

Groceries are a single category that has risen in cost. You’re missing: housing, insurance, clothing, services, appliances, utilities, and more. And for many, taxes. Yes, for many the strong economy has been a financial boon. But for a large swath of Americans, they’re not getting ahead. The average American salary is not six figures. The Harris campaign is trying to address these concerns, but pretending inflation hasn’t been a challenge is inaccurate.
