A D.C. man is threatening legal action after he says the Long Island Iced Tea he was served at an Adams Morgan bar contained cleaning fluid.
Leon Williams says Long Island Iced Teas are his drink of choice, so he immediately knew something didn't taste right when he was at Club Heaven and Hell on Sunday night. According to Williams, his cocktail was spiked with Foam-Brite Condenser Coil Cleaner. http://www.fox5dc.com/news/local-news/dc-bar-served-long-island-iced-tea-that-contained-yellow-death-cleaning-fluid-customer-says |
| Well it sounds like this establishment is at least trying to keep it clean. Just a little too clean. |
| I can’t believe that place is still open! Was the dump of all dumps 15 years ago. |
Considering the owner is also the bartender I'm not surprised. |
I was going to save the same thing, except 25 years ago it was fun. |
Ditto. Adams Morgan is fine op. |
| I don't always order LIT. But when I do and I'm in Adams Morgan I order top shelf brandy. And top shelf vodka. Tequila from Mexico and rum from the Carribean. I am the most interesting drunk in the world. |
Hhahahhahahahahahahjaajahahhaha Thank you |
Heaven and Hell still exists? Old stomping grounds back in the 90s. Last time I was there, Compliment Man gave me a compliment. I remember having to go to the bathroom really bad. Heaven's bathroom line was long, so I journeyed to Hell. Opened the stall and saw toilet paper and human crap piled 4 inches above the toilet's water line. I noped on out of there. Ended up hitting a reggae club |

Seems like an honest mistake. It so dark in there and the fluids do happen to be the same color. Not sure why the guy is working, he is not short of money.
Lucky the customer didn't die. He just wants to get paid. |
| Heaven and Hell is still open?! |
|
So weird when your kids go to the same bar you used to go to! |
This was my reaction. Is Dan's Cafe still there? |
| A few times I have come across articles where current or former bartenders list the drinks that every bartender hates when you order it, and the Long Island Ice-tea is on the list each time. Order at your own risk. |
