Leon Williams says Long Island Iced Teas are his drink of choice, so he immediately knew something didn't taste right when he was at Club Heaven and Hell on Sunday night.

According to Williams, his cocktail was spiked with Foam-Brite Condenser Coil Cleaner.

Heaven and Hell still exists? Old stomping grounds back in the 90s. Last time I was there, Compliment Man gave me a compliment.

I remember having to go to the bathroom really bad. Heaven's bathroom line was long, so I journeyed to Hell. Opened the stall and saw toilet paper and human crap piled 4 inches above the toilet's water line. I noped on out of there. Ended up hitting a reggae club

I was just wondering about Compliment Man the other day. Hope he’s ok.

And omg the bathroom situations in some of those places were beyond disgusting.

He passed away years ago.

Mr Henry's ..I haven't heard that name in a long time.

Remember Tracks?

What's a squirt bottle (please describe with no toilet language)?

Yes Heaven & Hell is still open
But not Tom Toms or Chief Ike’s...

Np. It's actually a squirt bottle with liquor in it. It's like a plastic ketchup bottle. I think they can't give liquor bottles out anymore.

Wtf, dans is still open? That place was a depressing and cheap mess when I went 20 years ago!

Good lord, Heaven and Hell is still open? I haven't been to Adams Morgan since the early 2000s. I remember the flooded toilet quite well.

The bar should be prosecuted to the fullest. I don't care what you think about ordering Long Island ice tea but what they did was flat out wrong and highly dangerous.

Dan’s Cafe was really hurt by the smoking ban imo because now it smells like the sticky floor and the patrons.

What I really miss is The Reef because it was fun to look at the fishies.

It’s still going strong. I still go when my buddy comes into town from London. He insists on going there. We are in our mid/early 30s and we are the oldest people in there by a solid 10 years. The bartenders are still mean as f#ck and hate their patrons. They actually make you pay a $5 cash deposit for the squeeze bottle

I went to the restaurant that’s now in that space (Union something) and about fell out from deja vu.

Was Heaven and Hell the place with a raised DJ booth?

Fuzzy memories...

ugh, I always hated adams morgan. those places were so gross. Floors were always sticky. I didn't find anything fun about going out there, even in my early 20s.
