I was going to save the same thing, except 25 years ago it was fun.

Ditto.

Adams Morgan is fine op.

I can't believe it's still open.

That's because it's a total Amateur Hour drink, only ordered by people looking to get wasted ASAP and nothing else. Anybody dumb enough to have LIT as their drink of choice almost deserves to have cleaning fluid added to the mix.

Back in my Adams Morgan bar-crawling days, I never went to H&H. I could smell the douchiness from a block away.

charming. this guy could have died.

I can't believe the owner/bartender wasn't more apologetic. You could have killed your customer, and you're mad for being called out for having cleaner behind the bar? Massive code violations, moron.

We were in AM this weekend and it was MUCH more alive than about twenty years ago.

I'm not excusing the bartender - that should be a license-losing error. But the fact remains that only idiots drink LITs more than once or twice, and even then only when they're freshly 21 and haven't yet learned how to drink like a grownup.

Next somebody's gonna tell me they still allow underage drinking at Mr Henry's and I can get a fake ID at Electromax. Am I in a 1993 time warp? Can I score a dime bag of shake on 1st??

Mr. Henry’s in Foggy Bottom closed a long time ago. And the one on Cap Hill is the last place someone underage would go to drink.

long island ice teas..... good times, good times. I think that may have been my drink of choice around the age of 20-22. Nothing screams, "i am an experienced drinker!!!!!" the way that ordering a LIT does!

Leon Williams says Long Island Iced Teas are his drink of choice, so he immediately knew something didn't taste right when he was at Club Heaven and Hell on Sunday night.

According to Williams, his cocktail was spiked with Foam-Brite Condenser Coil Cleaner.

Heaven and Hell still exists? Old stomping grounds back in the 90s. Last time I was there, Compliment Man gave me a compliment.

I remember having to go to the bathroom really bad. Heaven's bathroom line was long, so I journeyed to Hell. Opened the stall and saw toilet paper and human crap piled 4 inches above the toilet's water line. I noped on out of there. Ended up hitting a reggae club

I was just wondering about Compliment Man the other day. Hope he’s ok.

And omg the bathroom situations in some of those places were beyond disgusting.
