Not sure why this was deleted but it was a retweet of the latest Monmouth poll. Looks like not a lot of NoVA Democrats are switching to Youngkin like you people keep insisting they are.

so lets' see cutting tons of taxes (loss of revenue?), banning CRT (seriously, that's important?), creating charter schools (ah yes lets undermine public education some more), keeping VA Open (yeah that's working out for TX and FL). I wish they would have a debate.

Youngkin's budget guy is the same person who bankrupted Kansas. No thank you.

Like the dude is suggesting cutting all these taxes while having projects? Where is the money going to come from?
He also says decrease job busting regulations (regulations are bad?) and making sure people are not forced to unionize? Not forced to unionize? I’m a health care worker in liberal Nova and if management catches a whiff of union talk, you are done for at work. It sounds like he is pro corporation and not very much into workers’ rights.

Did she offer you horse dewormer? That’s their true sign of respect.

The Whole "regulations bad" thing is such a joke. During the Trump admin they had this rule that you couldn't make a regulation unless you "eliminated two". But in my organization our regulations control how these applications to a program are processed. So if we wanted to make basic changes to how paperwork was filed (we were moving to a totally digital system) we had to find something to delete. It was incredibly stupid.

Same thing happened last time around. Rs were energized at first and candidate polled better. Then once Ds started paying attention the polls moved away. For Northam, it was closer than it should have been. For McAulliffe, if the polls are pulling away now that means this race is effectively over.

Since McAuliffe is pulling away I guess there really is no downside to voting for Youngkin as a protest vote against the sliminess of McAuliffe and the self-serving hypocrisy of so many local Democrats.

Yes, try that, may that will elect Trumpkin.

Growth! The money is going to come from infinite growth in Virginia. So much growth that we won't need taxes at all

Not too long ago, the state income tax in Virginia was 3%.

Given the recent events and Youngkin's comments he wants to ban abortion, it's more crucial than ever that he be defeated.

Ah yes but the so called Democrats want to send a message to everyone about their discontent about CRT, opening schools, and TJ admissions!

Virginia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Terry McAuliffe held a swanky fundraiser on Martha's Vineyard as the liberal vacation hotspot struggled to battle a spike in coronavirus cases that follows former president Barack Obama's birthday party.

McAuliffe charged attendees thousands of dollars to attend the Wednesday event, which he held at Sen. Mark Warner's (D., Va.) $7 million island mansion, according to a copy of the invitation obtained by New York Times reporter Ken Vogel. While donors enjoyed "cocktails and conversation in support of" McAuliffe, however, local medical professionals rushed to deal with a spike in COVID-19 cases nearly two weeks after Obama held his celebrity-filled soirée on the island. After the former president pledged to "scale back" the party over coronavirus concerns, hundreds of guests, including celebrities John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and Don Cheadle, flocked to the island to attend.

Cases in the island's surrounding county have increased 179 percent since Obama's "sophisticated" guests began to arrive for the birthday bash.

The fundraiser marks McAuliffe's latest attempt to nationalize his fundraising efforts as he works to defeat GOP opponent Glenn Youngkin. Last week, the Democratic candidate attended a Las Vegas fundraiser with Nevada governor Steve Sisolak (D.). McAuliffe ditched a candidate forum hosted by a disabilities advocacy group to fly to the event, a decision that drew a swift rebuke from Virginia's disabled community.

Warner purchased his Martha's Vineyard mansion from the late 60 Minutes journalist Mike Wallace in 2011. The waterfront estate consists of "two dwellings connected by a covered brick veranda and two car garage" and boasts six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a private dock, and private beach, as well as a screen porch that provides "unsurpassed water views to the shores of Cape Cod." Warner's residence is just miles away from Obama's $11.75 million, 29-acre estate.

At the fundraiser, Warner announced his intention to investigate President Joe Biden's disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, according to Vogel. Event "hosts" paid $10,000 to attend, while "co-hosts" and "sponsors" paid $5,000 and $2,500, respectively, the invitation shows.

He is so two-faced and hypocritical! I see nothing has changed about him.

And given what he’s backing for our children’s public education, there is no way I’d ever vote for him.

I kean seriously there's even some analysts saying women in Texas may have trouble getting ectopic pregnancies treated under this law. That's a death sentence.
