Yes, you can’t seem to get a straight answer here on anything, the team colors/levels and how players are placed, the identity of the TD, the management company, the list goes on!

But the Princess Bride reference was hilarious

Just go to Evergreen yourself. Talk to Juan Carlos yourself. Watch practice sessions yourself. You have been given honest answers and they have been honest when they have said they just don’t know the answer.

Get off the keyboard and go and see for yourself if you want answers. Talk to parents face to face.

It is a good advice, but I don't think he is interested in getting answers or learning about the program.

You’ve gotten several straight answers, and probably more info about the TD than was necessary to give. You might have a reading disability.

Here's an example of the style of play for one of the younger Barca teams 2006 Yellow against PWSI.

PWSI Pride is what, their 3rd or 4th team (and actually lower because of VDA)? Which team is 2006 Yellow?

They also beat PWSI and CYA top teams in the same tournament. As for VDA, they are associated with several feeder clubs, including PWSI, so it is not like equivalent of Arlington DA and Arlington Red.

I ran across this footage on youtube of the West Florida Flames vs Barca Academy Northern VA U18 Garnet. It was at the Disney Showcase in September. I suspect it was filmed by the Flames, not by anyone from Barca.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sbgfozjcC4

The final score was 1-0, in favor of the flames, but I think it's worth a watch.

Good game, probably should have been 2 or 3 goals for Barca.

Very different playing styles.

I've watched about 10 minutes so far, mostly the part between the yellow card (ugh!) and the goal. How would you describe the styles? That was NOT what I would've expected from Barca! The Flames are the ones doing the short passing game. Barca has a lot of sloppy passes and some long, aimless efforts.

RSD, this is silly. You need to watch the entire game before you can draw any meaningful conclusions.

Disagree, Barca uses almost entirely short passes. They had most of the possession the 2nd half.

The sloppy passing was when they sometimes did send the ball forward. Barca players are much better dribblers and they position well to keep a man open. Unfortunately most of their shots were too high. The flames scored on a broken play, there were a couple of other opportunities but they kept getting caught offsides. Flames were aggressive, I didn’t see any passbacks. Barca passed back a lot. General view: Flames got up the field by sending the ball, Barca dribbled it there.

I’m not very familiar with the club but I liked what I saw.

I agree with this analysis and saw the same myself. The Flames has Barca players running around the way I’d expect from Barca.

Whatever makes you feel happy, sweetheart. You won't fool anyone, because the video is readily available for everyone to see.

Haha! I won’t need to fool anyone, they can just watch, boo. Kisses

All you have to do is keep the center compact, let their false 9 (#10) run around, and they struggle to create penetration.

Perhaps the Flames have good coaches and talented players?
