I've lived in several Africa countries and they were gorgeous and full of beautiful, warm, and friendly people. Like any place, including the US, it wasn't all roses but we had our children there and loved it. We came back to the states for my husband's job but we're both trying to find ways to get back. We have a place in Durbin and hope to hold onto it and retire there.

Huh? This isn't a conservative thing. The liberal hero, FDR, had strict quotas based on national origin - and Poland had a very small number. Even after Hitler demonizing the Jews, which FDR knew well, he refused to up the quotas.

And FDR was wrong for doing that. It’s a blight on his record.
