Really enjoyed last episode. Just watched it.

I agree with you. Re-used a lot. Told some stories that frankly could have been left out.

I really enjoyed it as well. Neat to see the entire "big day" after we'd seen the ending. I never watched any of Gerald McRaney's other shows, but am really digging him as the OB.

This is poster 16.02, and I totally agree about GM. He is very charming/likable/endearing, and perfect for his role as an OB.

I thought the most recent episode was unbelievably hokey.

Well, more pieces to the puzzle of Jack's death was revealed last night.

EW is saying the next episode is Feb 7th, IMDB is saying Jan 31st. I do not watch the previews at the end of the episode in an attempt to be surprised.

There are 4 episodes left regardless, since only 18 were filmed and last night was episode 14.

I LOVED this episode. William is so freaking awesome!

It hit me that Jack is really the hub of the show, despite his early death. His absence plays as big a role in the contemporary scenes as his presence in the flashbacks. I wonder if we'll get a storyline that shows Randall begin to search for his birth father partly in reaction to Jack's death.

Me too!!!!
Ugh I don't cry much during this show. But the tears....
How every day is precious. How we shouldn't wait for tomorrow. William & Randall, giving up his time because he knows his William is chasing joy in every moment. And jack, same thing. Just trying to live--and sadly he doesn't even know that his life will be cut short. And Kate and her anger. It bothered me at first how she wouldn't dig deep at that pace--just skeptically brushing it off. But she pushed and found something underneath. Hate that camp guy though, almost sexual harassment-y.

Her primal scream was really something.

Ok I just have to say it. I do not get Toby and Kate. What is the attraction? She is whiny, neurotic, lack confidence and sense of humor. What does he see in her? they have to give that relationship at little more substance.

I agree on the Toby Kate thing. I like him a lot but don't get why he would go to the end of the earth for her given how she keeps rejecting him. I liked her better this episode--a lot less whiny (despite the it's my party and I'll cry if I want to vibe).
Agree that creepy camp horse guy should be fired for sexual harassment.

Well he is clearly there to test her loyalty to Toby in the midst of her emotional release. I think he's well cast and there seems to be real chemistry between them.

Yeah, as a viewer, you couldn't have been hit over the head more with that one. But yikes, he was creepy.

I don't understand Toby's utter devotion to Kate either. Truly, everything Kate says comes off sounding bitchy even her character isn't trying to sound bitchy.

So will William's death parallel Jack's death in an episode?
