Cis women get harassed a lot more often than trans women just because there are so many more cisgender women. A lot of the people that think “I can always tell” are actually really bad about figuring out if someone is trans.

I have spent a lot of time in the past around trans people particularly trans women. There are some, a very tiny percentage, who “pass”. But the distinction on if a certain trans woman “passes” is irrelevant. They are male.
