My husband just called because he is in line for us to get the vax. He said there are about 50 people ahead of him. TV crews are also present. I really hope to get the shot for my kids today because we had the first confirmed swine flu in daughter's preschool today.

NP here... my DH says it is now about 100 adults in line (some adults with more than one child).

Actually, I care. I need a shot (high risk) and I want to know if I should bother to try tonight or not. With 100 adults in line, I am thinking not.

This is why people said that the lines were terrible at 5 and gone by 6 on Tuesday. I'm really hoping that's the case tonight or an entire line full of people are going to hear from DC about how his bedtime is at 7 and he's waiting in line to get stuck by a needle.

on saturday they generally took people downstairs in groups of 25. It takes about 10-15 minutes to do 25 people as they had about 10 stations set up. so 100 people should go reasonably quickly.

DH just told me there are around 400 people in line. Does anyone know how many vaccines they are giving out?

that math works out to about 4 hours for 400 people, but you don't know how many of those people are holding places in line for others.

i was told by a friend on the ground that they have 200 of the 2 dose vaccines and 100 of the one dose shots and more (can't recall number) of the mist. given the line, i decided not to bother tonight. oh well...
