Report from the street - Wilson

Anonymous
We arrived at Hardy at 5 (maybe 5 minutes to), the line was around the corner and halfway to Wisconsin. We got into the building at 6:30 but they had people waiting in the auditorium. We got the shots (1 shot for a 4 year old, one shot for a 15 month old) and left at around 8:00.

There was no indication they were running out of shots and there was a significant line outside when we left. It is very helpful to have two parents there.

They did not check IDs

The DOH guy said they would have clinics every Tues and Thurs nights from now on.

I had the same experience. Thankfully we all got the shots. It seems that the plan to go later no longer works as there are so many people wanting this shot especially now that it really has hit the schools etc.

We were not as lucky as some of the PPs. We arrived around 5:30 and were told at 8:45 they had ran out of the two shot doses --- our kids are 7mo and 22 mo. Definitely have make plans to get there A LOT earlier next week.

I just wanted to say for future planning that maybe Hardy was less popular than Wilson last night. I got there with DC at 6:15 and he didn't get his shot until 9:40. I needed the single dose, and they still had that available. I did hear a health worker say that they were running out of the shots so everyone who could get the mist had to get the mist. There were still hundreds of people (half the auditorium) there when I left at 9:45 (yes, that is a 3 1/2 hour wait). Now that they have opened up the shot to more priority groups, the lines are getting worse.

PP - you and I must have been standing virtually next to each other.

I work in DC, so I wrote my DC address on the form. The woman next to me lived in VA, and she wrote VA on the form. I volunteered to one of the DOH workers I was from MoCo, and no one blinked. They are not enforcing any residency (at least last night at Hardy).
