Bronagh or Maeve

Surname Flannigan. Yes, we are Dubliners!

Bronagh is pronounced Bro - na by the way.
Anonymous
Neither.

Maeve

I would spell it Meadbh.
Anonymous
Definitely not the first one. No one will know how to pronounce it.

If you're living in the US, neither. Maeve is really ugly and a name pronounced as "Brona" ... she will be called Boner.

Are you in the US? I think it's a lovely name but don't give your kid a name we locals can't pronounce or spell. Especially when the phonetic mispronunciation is harsh like that.

Agree. Why spell Bronagh the Irish way and Maeve in English?

Bronagh is not ever close to boner. Bonnie is closer to boner

Ireland. That is where “these people” are coming from. These are both classic Irish names, you idiot.
