UVA once again in USNWR top 25

UVA is once again in quite elite company. Obviously a very prestigious school:

Too obvious to be a troll. To stupid to be real. I’m stumped.

OP here. Just sayin’. Year after year after year . . .

Haven't UCLA, Berk, Uva and Michigan been between 20-30 for like ... at least 10 years? Not thread worthy. I think UNC is the only flagship public u to slide a bit last few years.

It is a flawed list, as evidenced by inclusion of Emory and Vanderbilt.

To consistently be ranked in the top 25 is prestigious

The USNWS top 25 has been very consistent in recent years. UVA and Wake Forrest have been in and out at the edges with Michigan and UNC just outside.

Hard to believe UVA couldn’t crack the Top 50 in the WSJ/THE rankings.

Define "prestigious".

Va has a ton of HS graduates and very few spots for people that want to go to college.

For example PA has just as many HS graduates but Penn state 3 times the number of spots as UVA for freshman.

It's too bad VA was not committed to educating all their community in an effort to have a low acceptance rate.

VA Tech is the comp for Penn State. Virginia has a wide variety of public universities. UVA is a public ivy.
