Even if we humor you for a hot second, are you suggesting that if it was a setup that it was okay that Junior still leapt at the chance to get this damaging info from a Russian government lawyer (who in your fantasy was hired by anti-Trumpers)? Do you not see that his even taking the meeting is what we like to call a BFD - big f*ckin deal? |
lol is right. They need to speak English first, that's my qualifier. Lots of whites would still be a drain on the system if they need ESOL. |
I think you folks need to read up on Sarcasm a bit. |
I see that as a NFD - Nothingburger *** The willingness to listen to opposition research is nothing unusual. The setup was used by Comey to get a FISA warrant. |
It would not matter even if it was a setup. FBI runs sting operations, and the perps still go to jail. |
Weird that you think that breaking federal law is a nothingburger. |
At this point, a sting operation would be preferable. At least any information leaked would be kept within our own government. Who knows how much intel the Russians have gleaned from the WH. |
As I'm hoping you understand deep down - "willingness to listen to opposition research" is a gross understatement of this situation. You're missing the key element of course (you might be a Fox watcher, they removed this element too): that this "opposition research" was being offered by a person associated with the government of a hostile foreign power, which was stated clear as a bell to DJT Jr via those emails, when he leapt at the chance to meet on the subject. Regardless of whether that person was a plant or the real-deal, these top campaign folks understood and accepted the "opposition researcher" to be working with them on behalf of the Russian government. Have you actually read the emails Junior released? |
If it was a setup I'd definitely call it a nothingberger |
My uncle went to prison for a setup, a sting operation. I'm glad it wasn't the real deal, and I'm glad he was caught and sent to prison. A setup is not a nothingburger (although I don't think this was, the way PP is describing). |
Funny watching Trumpkins twist themselves into pretzels trying to defend Uday. |
link? |
Fun Fact: The Russian lawyer was granted a "special" visa to enter the US from the Obama Administration as she was banned entry into the USA. |
+1 mental gymnastics. It's like arguing with my 8 yr old. All the twists and turns, illogical reasonings. |
Perhaps I missed it. I didn't see the link to Agaralov. |
