Here's an opposing view on the meeting for those who are interested:

Donald Trump Jr. gathered members of campaign for meeting with Russian lawyer before election
By Sara A. Carter and John Solomon

Portions from article:
"President Trump was not aware of the meeting and did not attend it, according to the lawyers. A translator and an American businessman working for a pro-Russian business lobby also attended the meeting, which lasted about 20 minutes, according to the interviews.

The president’s legal team said Saturday they believe the entire meeting may have been part of a larger election-year opposition effort aimed at creating the appearance of improper connections between Trump family members and Russia that also included a now-discredited intelligence dossier produced by a former British intelligence agent named Christopher Steele who worked for a U.S. political firm known as Fusion GPS.

“We have learned from both our own investigation and public reports that the participants in the meeting misrepresented who they were and who they worked for,” said Mark Corallo, a spokesman for President Trump’s legal team. “Specifically, we have learned that the person who sought the meeting is associated with Fusion GPS, a firm which according to public reports, was retained by Democratic operatives to develop opposition research on the President and which commissioned the phony Steele dossier. "

Donald Trump Jr's story is that it wasn't a campaign issue even though the then-campaign manager and "senior advisor" came? How stupid are they? How stupid do they think we are?

I know Mueller's investigation will take time but I cannot wait for it to be over. This is incredibly embarrassing.

Lol, you mean the excuse from Trump's teamthat makes no sense and only Trumpkins are dumb enough to believe..

Th Hillary sure was crafty, did she also hypnotize them into not revealing the alleged set up at the time it occurred, and also to make them deny for months that such meeting occurred?!

"Circa News," as the online arm of Sinclair Broadcast Group, is straight up bullsh!t from the mouth of Trumpsucker Boris Epshteyn. No one is claiming that now-President Trump attended the meeting. You can tell by the initial denial of something that is not even claimed that the entirety of the rest of this is complete asshattery.

Best to get a lawyer, Uday. You may be trying to lie with the best of them but you're not quite as bright.

The part about Preet Bharara and millions of Russian dollars parked in New York real estate was interesting.

This makes a lot of sense. Consider Creamer and Fogle, and how they had to leave their company after O'Keefe's investigative video. Consider the fact that Dems hired a private investigative firm, who you can control, to check if their servers were compromised, rather than go directly to the FBI. Consider that the Steele dossier has been front and center as 'proof'. Consider Fusion GPS has worked for Planned Parenthood.
Consider also, Republican "Never Trumpers" hired Fusion GPS before the Dems did, during the campaign for candidacy.

I bet you think Herbalife is a great opportunity, too!

Newsflash: all those word you bolted are your dog whistles, which propaganda team Sinclair made just for folks like you. Did you read the New York Times article? Of course not. Because if it was a set up, why would Donnie Jr say he'd never met with anyone Russian in any capacity during the campaign? Wouldn't he say, actually there was this set up.... open your eyes.

Interesting.

OP's link went to the Apple News version, but the story is NYTimes, pretty in depth, and clearly not fake.

More importantly, she has been the Kremlin's point person on lifting sanctions. Not some random Russian attorney. Hmmmm.

Most of us know that. PP referring to Sinclair isn't referring to the link in the OP, but to the BS article from Circa linked later in the thread and called an "opposing view."
