As one of those local taxpayers, I don't believe that a person's primary moral or legal obligation is to speed the investigation process and reduce the financial burden on the local taxpayers.

I don't think it's nonsense, the idea that a parent's control over an 18-year-old is limited. I am not the PP at 8:15. I also don't live in the Wootton cluster and have been past Wootton HS maybe twice in my life.
