Yes. On his IMCLA profile already

Wow. That’s at least his third school in the past few years and he is most certainly not Catholic. SJC obviously thrilled to have him but very weird choice on his ends

He started at Bullis and now at St John’s. Who cares about MS

If you’re talking about the goalie transfer from Bullis, he was the backup at Bullis and won’t start at SJC.

Sort of an odd move for the Bullis transfer. SJC has a great 2026 goalie and a pretty good 2027, and those are just the two that I know. Knowing how they stockpile players, there are probably more.

Didn't have a choice and "started" meant he started MS at Bullis not as a goalie. It is the logical choice for a NL player and logistically. He won't see the field until his junior year as he will beat out the 27 goalie.

No chance he beats out the DCE A team 2027 goalie.

I don't know who will beat out who, but it is pretty amazing that SJC has those three goalies - probably the best three in the DMV all at one school.

I look forward to the outcome.

Goalie is the strongest position for the 28 class locally (and 27 goalie class is reasonably strong too) so there aren’t many top programs in the area where a goalie wouldn’t face a battle for playing time.

SJC ‘28 goalie takes the starting job. You saw it here first.

This is absolutely the first place I've seen it. Thanks a lot for the post.

As odd as it is that he went to SJC, he was wise not to go to Prep where they have almost double digits great goalies. And added at least one more this year as a freshman. Why would a goalie choose that??? I guess because they think they are the best but only one can be the best and at Prep that means beating out literally 6 other awesome goalies.

The freshman going to Prep was a headscratcher. Not a good fit culturally. Plus with the GA boarder that started as a frosh last year the incoming freshman isnt going to see the field for 2 more years

Smart decision. St. John's has a very good full time goalie coach. No brainer.

SJC is more than half the cost of Bullis.

So if there's a full time goalie coach, makes a lot of sense.

Coupled with not starting at Bullis for another year, and the fact that the team, as admitted by previous posts, has only a couple 26 and 27 players to try to cobble together a team, it makes sense to abandon ship while you are still an underclassmen and work to get on the field.

Bullis will still remain competitive this coming Spring.

I do think if the school continues to put an emphasis on the football / hoops programs, the lacrosse team will begin to drop off pretty dramatically. The scholarship money that was once given to lax players is a fraction of what it once was on the Gerrry Boarman era.

Yeah, but SJC has the 3 best goalies in the entire DMV, so it'll be even tougher there. Between these 2 schools, these 10 guys might be the most awesome goalies in the United States.

Money is not an issue for this family! He could have beat out the 26 goalie but he won't since he is gone!

Money's not an issue, but he's leaving.
Could have beat out the starter, but he's leaving.
His club team director just became an assistant at Bullis, but he's leaving.
Transferring to a school much further away, but he's leaving.

Starting to read between the lines here.
