You are welcome
Poblano Mexican Grill in Baltimore. |
| Has anyone tried Ixtapalapa Taqueria in Gaithersburg? Wondering if it is worth the hike? |
Sounds like you have never actually been to Texas. There is both Tex-Mex and Mexican cuisine. It's a big state with a ton of Mexican immigrants. You can find both, and both are pretty good if you know where to look. |
+1 Grew up in CA. Had a lot of Vietnamese friends, and of course, there is "Little Saigon". NM, oth, lacks good diverse food choices. I looked into retiring in NM, but the lack of food choices turned me off. |
Why oh why are you eating Mexican food in Finland?? That makes no sense to me… it’s like people who visit China and eat only at Italian restaurants. |
+1. The largest vietnamese communities are in CA and TX. Houston has great vietnamese food. |
Sad here. I missed the deadline to order green chile through a mix up. |
Sometimes people make bad decisions out of desperation. |
No good Chinese food in CA? You’re kidding, right? |
I once at pizza in scotland because my spouse was tired of walking and the weird convenience place at our cheap hotel had pizza or haggis that was in a glass thing like they use for hot dogs at 7-11. I violated my own rule of always ordering local. |
| Republic Cantina in NoMa has the best Tex-Mex I've tried so far in DC. Their migas are especially good. |
|
bump. I miss Frontier’s Sonoran food items (Frontier is across the street from UNM).
Where can I find -good- Sonoran food in NoVa ? Anita’s is ok, but too gringo… |
You do realize that Texas has a very long border with Mexico and therefore does have Mexican food. Take a look at a map or a globe. |
| I’ve lived in CA, NM, and TX. No New Mexican food anywhere here. But there are a few good Mexican like Gringos & Mariachis and Casa Oaxaca. But for more casual, Taco Bamba is pretty good too. |

From Colorado to DC, there is no comparison. Colorado was originally part of Mexico.
You want Mexican?, you are better off making it from a YouTube video. |
