| OP here - teen went, had a great time, everyone wore a mask (I saw the pics on DCs phone). No regrets - happy DC had the experience and enjoyed time with friends. |

So glad to hear that!! DD went to one in early August and another one this past weekend. She has a few more coming up in September and October. Really hoping they can happen in person. The kids have worked super hard and everyone could use a reason to celebrate right now. (Also, one of the families were clear that both the synagogue and party venue required that everyone eligible be vaccinated. They followed up directly with families/family members they weren't sure about and had to tell a couple of people that no, they could not attend. The fact that it was the venues' requirement made things less awkward, and it made everyone else who was vaccinated a little more comfortable with the situation.) |
