Josh Duggar arrested and in federal custody

As someone who hasn't followed this stuff.

1) What ever came out of the allegations he abused his sisters? Was there a conviction or did it never reach court?

2) Are he still living in the DC area?

Nothing happened in terms of the legal system but when the allegations came out, it resulted in 19 Kids and Counting being cancelled off TLC and the future shows were all about the older girls as they got married and struck out on their own. No, they went back to Arkansas years ago. Believe J&A were only in the DC area from about 2012-2014ish. I saw Anna at the Old Town Alexandria Whole Foods back then, she was a lot smaller than she looked on TV and was wearing flip flops and a long skirt.

Dude is a Grade A Scumbag but I don't know what to say about Anna as she appears to be thoroughly brainwashed and swallowed by the cult. I feel bad for her. Of all their kids, Jill is kind of the only one who's broken out, by which I mean doing things like sending her kids to public school.

I have a feeling her parents knew all about Josh, but marrying into a famous fundy family who by that time had some money outweighed that. Tale as old as times, parents selling their daughters to the highest bidder the daughter's well being and future grandchildren's well being be damned.

Not sure what would happen as he was a minor himself. Their parents should have been held accountable for that as well as their cop friend who brushed it under the rug for them.. Josh needed serious help and they failed to get it for hiim.

At what cost though? I've spent sometime around people in abusive relationships and family who claims to help and offer support, that support often comes with all sorts of conditions.
