Does long, thick hair look unprofessional on a 40 yo woman?

I have thick, virgin, shiny waist length hair. I have been a corporate exec for 7 years. My hair is up off my neck when I’m in a suit, braided when I’m in business casual, and loose when I’m at an event in an evening dress.

Looked at some other responses and should add about culture - I work in agri-food, a very traditional and old school industry where men would honesty prefer I was not at the table. Women on Ag fair best when we keep our femininity in tact, so I’m at least giving the traditional female appearance.

But waist length?? I don't know how you could possibly pull that off without looking pentecostal- unless you are. I don't think it reads feminine, it reads fundamental religious if you are over 20
