Face it; while you were hiding at home, the majority of people were out enjoying their lives. If it helps you to say that you were unselfish and considerate of others (or in reverse that we were selfish) by all means.
I'm just happy we didn't throw away a year of our lives.

Yes, and now 500,000+ people are dead. Do you... not see the connection? It doesn't matter if you personally got and spread COVID or not. In the aggregate, "people out enjoying their lives" killed many, many human beings, like some of my loved ones. That's why we were supposed to not do *A FRACTION* of what we do to enjoy our lives. That's literally how this entire thing works. You know-- novel virus, exponential growth?

How do you explain how the most locked down state (CA) fared similarly to one of the least locked down states (FL)? I'd like to hear your take, because the pro lockdown scientists can't explain it.

DP. Did Florida even test and take accurate statistics? I thought they fired the woman who was trying to do that.

Florida tests just like any other state, and is one of the most transparent states due to their sunshine laws. The woman was fired for insubordination and refusing to do her job, and was arrested for illegally accessing IT systems after she was fired.

DH got vaccinated first back in December so he has eaten indoors. I have not as I just got vaccinated. Going forward, wondering if we can go to a restaurant. We always eat early so we would be first seating.

Would you eat out with unvaccinated kids when parents are vaccinated?

Ask your pediatrician not social media.

+1. I believed the lie too.. Deaths are hard to hide. Ask Cuomo. Florida is middle of the pack in terms of outcomes. High elderly population, and 99% of schools open, many maskless.

DeSantis had a good opinion piece he wrote in the WSJ. Florida's one of the most open states. And not much happened. They're middle of the pack in terms of covid outcomes.

Google is your friend. It is a complicated comparison that you cannot base solely on lock down vs no lockdown. They are talking also about differences in poverty, humidity etc.

Either way higher death rate in FL.

DeSantis refused to let Covid positive patients be released from hospitals to nursing homes. Many more deaths would have occurred had he made the same mistake as Cuomo, Pritzker, etc. He protected the elderly to some degree that way, and prioritized open schools. Contrast that with California. Banned outdoor dining, park benches, playground - low risk environments where people could have had some normalcy. Schools remote and kids passed between caregivers, left home alone, etc. Dem governors are destroying our country, it turns out.

Did you catch Covid?

Who knows? I never felt sick. Each of us have been tested due to the travel, but never positive.

Sure, like I said if it helps you just keep telling yourself that you are a more virtuous person than I am. I have zero regrets and I am happy that we haven't been living in fear.

Cuomo was more interested in holding press conferences and groping his subordinates, than trying to keep the most vulnerable New Yorkers from dying. And Californians got arrested for surfing, among other idiocies.

Meanwhile, my friends in Florida are leading a mostly normal life.

A lot of these posters would be the ones calling for adulterers to be burned at the stake, back in the day. It has nothing to do with public health- they just want to be able to shame and chastise with impunity.

+1. Zero regrets.

You sound angry. That’s no way to live. Judge away. I don’t give your opinion 2 thoughts. And yes I fully anticipate the “this is why we can’t have nice things comeback”. So original.
