Ice Cream Nightly

Therefore, I avoid it altogether. Life is good.

How old were they?

Our local news station growing up would occasionally do those interviews of people when they hit 100 years old. They always asked them their secret and so many said they enjoyed ice cream every day!

Now that I wrote that out I wonder if the dairy industry underwrote that segment of the news....

Have you tried lactose free ice cream?

Yes, it tasted awful.

I don’t think you’ve tried it.

That's a lie.

Life is not worth living without ice cream and chocolate in moderation.

Bagels are made of flower and water so are donuts.

Flour, not "flower."

Personally I’d rather drink my calories with good wine or a stiff high end cocktail than stuff my face with ice cream every night.

Orange juice and fruited yogurt are not "just sugar bombs." There are plenty of nutrients in the oj and pro- and prebiotics in the yogurt.

Not everyone is concerned with calories. And your "stiff high end cocktail" and "good wine" could be a much bigger problem than sugar is for many people.

Context matters.

It’s not context anything. Grocery store juice, yogurt, and ice cream are all sugar bombs. People become addicted to them because it’s a sugar addiction.

Eating ice cream is not any better than drinking a cocktail or sharing a bottle of wine and it’s all satisfying the same dopamine receptors

Did you really equate a “sugar addiction” to alcohol addiction?

C’mon man.

Love these! I'm really like the mint chocolate chip one at the moment.

I associate it with old people. They seem to be daily ice cream eaters.

Hmm. How old? Maybe they discovered ice cream is the fountain of youth!

Agree. I’ve noticed this too

I am old, 65. In the summer I eat ice cream or frozen yogurt almost daily. But I have zero interest in it in the winter.

Oh, I could eat ice cream daily.

21:06 again. I meant I wish I could eat ice cream daily. I mean, I could eat it, but I would be considerably heavier.
