Help please selling high end car!!!

^^ hint: it’s not on your list. It’s a bit more exotic. I bought it new in 2012 and it’s gone up in value, not down.

The flat fee guy has an arrangement with you regarding price? He absolutely can sell it for less than you are thinking I'm sure...

That flat fee guy is going to get his money back from the seller. Sometimes being too cheap backfires. You aren’t going to sell a car worth over 100k using that guy. Keep looking. The market for expensive cars is exclusive. You haven’t broken into it with your seller.

Oops PP above I mean from the buyer. By selling it cheap and taking another cut from the buyer.

Agreed. I was also thinking R8. Honestly it's not that hard to sell an R8 and you don't need a special middle man. Just go request blue book value from a dealer or carmax. I believe if you took a poll, most people would not consider an R8 exotic, although it is certainly a very cool car.

Neither a dealer nor carmax will give you anywhere close to blue book.

Exactly! Obviously people didn’t understand my question. If I’m not wanting to pay 10% commission to my DHs friend why would I pay 40% or more to a dealer!?! I’m sure these same people would freak out when they got the dealers offer!

Then keep the d@mn gift. It’s not that expensive of a car.

Daddy Warbucks what do you drive? When I drive my car i can’t put gas in it without getting approached and I don’t know how many times someone has rolled down their windows to take photos. I make my DH gas it up because of the men bothering me. But he says, “it’s just an excuse because your hot”. Btw last year we discussed trading it in and getting me a Rolls Royce Wraith but I am really over driving around in these attention seeking vehicles. It was fun for a while but now I feel it’s just obnoxious! Not to mention the anxiety trying to find a parking space. I will literally park in the furthest parking spot where no cars are and it never fails some piece of crap will park right next to me.

Those piece of crap car owners do this on purpose.

No not with the 180 google reviews that are quite impressive. They can’t have that much family. Lol if they were doing shit like that they would’ve been caught by now and that would be a terrible review.

You do know you can buy reviews online right? Maybe you are not savvy enough to sell the car yourself.

Speaking as someone who has owned multiple 100k+ cars, they are not as exclusive as you think. There are also a ton of rich people looking to pick something up used, drive it for six months or a year and then sell it. To them, they want to experience a car but not deal with new car depreciation or hold on to it long term. To these people, as long the car has service records and the carfax come back clean, it's no riskier than buying a car from a dealer.

NP here, he married you... so either he was delusional before that, or the marriage drove him to it. Eiter way, not something you want to brag about.

I agree.

Can't you find a forum for that specific brand/car? Ask your question there.

And just an fyi, your sketchy "friend" who wants a $10k nut just to sell it will take advantage of you and "sell" the car to one of his pals for far less than it's worth.

I’m thinking of buying the Mercedes G-wagon.
