| The language exam was less than a half hour. I can’t understand why they didn’t utilize the full time on an already drastically reduced time slot. Not enough opportunity to show what they know. |
| I hope that the tests are improved for next year. |
| Every exam I checked had a higher distribution of 5s than in 2019. |
| They haven’t posted 2020 score distributions. Everything cited here is for the 2019 exams. |
Scroll down to July 10 on Trevor Packer's twitter https://twitter.com/ap_trevor?lang=en to see 2020 score distributions. See also https://www.totalregistration.net/AP-Exam-Registration-Service/AP-Exam-Score-Distributions.php |
Art exams, CS exams, seminar, research, Japanese and chem had lower % of 5s in 2020 than last year. |
| Language didn’t test reading/writing and the exam was short? Is it possible a section was missed? |

Interesting. Note those are mostly (not all) project based exams. |
| I still don’t understand why the students weren’t given more than 45 minutes for World History. What would be the harm in giving them at least an hour? That was a lot of writing. |

10th grader got a 5 on APHUG.
Only 11.6% got a 5 and it had the highest % of students with a 1 (which was also true last year). I’m very proud of him, and I would never say this if this forum weren’t anonymous, but I had been very worried because he popped out of the room after 15 minutes and announced he was done with the first question and it was “really easy.” I know this sounds like a humble brag, but I do wonder if the score distribution is the result of APHUG being common for younger students to take and/or more kids of varying abilities take because it sounds easy? This subject matter is my kid’s strength, and, fwiw, I don’t think he’ll even bother taking AP Calculus, but I just find this fascinating. |
My twins were both done with Spanish Lang in 15-20 minutes. I was also shocked at the length. |
So? |
I don’t even know which class this is! Geography? Anyway is great about your son! Did he like the class? |
