| They will be released to Virginia on Friday. Earliest release to students is Wednesday. |
|
There's a VPN students can use to get their scores on Wednesday no matter what state they're in. It basically routes them through an IP address in the correct time zone:
earlyscores.com |
Not always. My kid never got an A in math for reason unrelated to aptitude, and then matured and got an A in BC Calc and a 5 on the test. At your school, he wouldn't have been allowed to even take it. |
That’s why my kid did DE courses. All the credit counted. |
The point is your kid had the aptitude for it. He wouldn’t have done that well without it. |
| Are they out for AP Principles of Computer Science? They had to do a project instead of an exam. |
I do t get this. Colleges receive the AP scores of all students to? Even the ones who didn’t apply there? My daughter is a Freshman and took an AP exam. Are you telling me that colleges have her score? |
No. Colleges receive AP scores only from students that already ordered the free score report to be sent to them. New freshmen, who know what college they are attending, typically use the free score report to have their AP scores automatically sent to their college. |
My kids college will not give credit for a class that a studentry got his credit for...be sure to look in to this when applying.. |
Not true. We knew it would help our kid when they got to college. Kid is not skipping courses in their major. Kid has gotten 4.0s every semester in a stem field at a large state u and says high school with all the ap classes was harder. |
Reading is fundamental. I said getting credit (for people not looking to signal to top schools on common app) is the core reason why people take the test. Not necessarily the class. |
| My DC was able to see scores today. One lower than expected (could’ve used the last few weeks of prep) but two were higher than expected (and the ones focused on the most). Lower score on first test, I also think it took a bit to adjust to the new format. |
Yes. They are out. |
West Coast released today. Go to early scores.com. He can access them there using a VPN. |
Maybe but my kid knew his chosen college didn’t give credit but still took the test. It was a challenge for him. He wanted to see how he did. Also his HS read about 8-9 books in AP Lit this year. |
