It's amazing to me that people would claim areas of Fairfax County are conservative, especially somewhere like Vienna. Talk about complete lack of context... nowhere in Fairfax County is conservative in the mainstream conservative sense.

There are a few purple areas with remnants of northeast liberal Republicans, but that is about it.

I am an Asian POC and there are way more of us in NoVA than DC. In fact, it is one of the reasons we didn’t even consider DC.

“POC” is not a monolith. Context is important. A city that is 90% black, 4% white, 4% Hispanic and 2% Asians technically has more POC than a city that is say, 30% white, 30% Asian, 20% black and 20% Hispanic, but as a family of immigrants from Latin America and Southeast Asia, we would much rather live in the latter than the former. (On paper, at least.)
