When the half time show turns into a competition, you know it wasn't a hit. |
You knucklehead. The lady above me meant explain to the kids that they singers had to lip synch because it’s hard to sing and dance at the same time. You totally missed her meaning. So stop writing. You’re embarrassing yourself. |
Then, they are not singing live. They are not singing at all. |
Hmm. I saw it as a PR’s cry for help from the rest of the country, the economy of which is benefiting from MAGA love. Puerto Rico could use some Trump treatment; Governor Wanda’s not going to get it done. 15 straight years of economic decline. |
Huh? I’m a poc and I thought Jlo’s performance was a bit much. Shakira’s struck a good balance. |
Yes it’s not for kids. This is men repeating hitting each other and bashing heads. Nothing about it is geared toward kids. And no, you have NEVER been to a strip club. There were no private parts exposed during this show. There was no money thrown on stage. |
| So kids in cages and the girl singing born in the USA was a reference to dreamers? |
Who helps you throughout your day bc you cannot function without help. |
But we aren’t officially bilingual. It would make sense for Canada to have a show in English and French. But for the American super bowl to be bilingual? That’s not expected. Name a European country that would feature another language spoken by an immigrant population? They wouldn’t. I thought it was cool. I also think it underscores how far we’ve come. Having said that, it was probably concocted by the nfl in an effort to increase viewership among the fastest growing/new majority. |
| It’s not for kids. Put your rugrats to bed after the puppy bowl. |

Not all women are competitive. They are friends and clearly support each other. |

I hated it. The last thing I want my daughters to think is that what is 'empowering' for women is to dance half naked in sexual ways for the enjoyment of men. That has been happening for generation and generation in strip clubs. I don't particularly think it is all that empowering. It that is what others want for their daughters - great. Teach them to take their clothes off and pole dance and shake their bodies and simulate sex for men's enjoyment. We don't look to strip clubs as our model for female empowerment.
As someone said we don't teach boys to take off their clothes and use their bodies for women's enjoyment. |
Yes, you are old. |
It’s past your bedtime. |
