Really? McLean beat Bethesda ECNL 06 3-0 and 3-1. The same Bethesda team beat Baltimore Celtic 05 team (No. 3 in MD) in the OBGC tournament. McLean also beat Maryland Rush 05s 14-1 and Pen Express Spirit 05s 7-0. I guess having four wins in four games with 27 goals scored and only 2 allowed means "struggled" for you.

The PP stated that McLean struggled in the tournament. I simply listed the results, which show the opposite. I am sure that the top Rush team wouldn't have given up 14 goals, but the point of my post was to refute the BS of the person who said that McLean struggled in the tournament, which they won comfortably.

** Baltimore Armour’s top players are from the Pipeline team which is better than BA. without those players BA does not make top 8. With those players they rank #2. Why? Because last year as WSMD with the Pipeline players they beat FCV DA. Without those players they lost handily in the spring. It would be similar to taking FCV DAs top 6-7 players off their team which would drop them from the rankings too.

And no, I am not Pipeline dad, but have had daughter play against most and have seen all of the above teams.

OK well based on actual 05 DA/ECNL conference games there are three 2 and 0 teams

FCV Arlington and McLean

Not to say that MU and VDA 05 teams are not good but so far they haven’t produced quite the same level of results in league play.
