No idea about here, but it could be, in some contexts.

Like under the UMCJ. Mainly for blackmail reasons.

Exactly.

IOW, not.

Strzok has no case, since he was fired for cause.

McCabe definitely has a case and I hope he wins.

They're both shameful smut.

Unfortunately, that describes our president. It doesn't describe every career fed though.

Prediction: both McCabe and stroke lose.
Again.

I don't know about Strozk. McCabe should win but you might be right, he might lose.

I'm not going to cheer when our system doesn't work. You do you.

They should have both been fired long before they were.

Being a government worker does not actually mean you have a job for life (as some claim). It is possible to get fired for misconduct. It's hard, but it is possible. And, both of these agents had multiple infractions.

The expectations in terms of conduct for FBI employees, especially agents or directors, are generally more stringent than other government jobs. My prediction is that they will both lose.

That’s true but he was an FBI agent working with national security. It’s a common reason he would be susceptible to blackmail. Just like a bunch of Trump appointees. He used terrible judgement and I’m sad at the loss of a valuable and extensively experienced agent.

I don’t think Trump fires him for this reason, though. I believe Trump has made many statements that show the firing was political.

The man performed his job for years and is entitled to his pension.

General Flynn is enjoying his $150k military retirement.

If your open about it you can’t be black mailed. Only people that might not have known were there spouses and Comey. I suspect if asked they would’ve told truth. I think they actually did tell truth when asked.

Things just got a little more ugly for McCabe.
The IG report on the russia investigation is going to be alarming.

So the Trump Administration is going to indict McCabe for leaking about the Clinton email case.

Punishment for then being on the Trump-Russia investigation.

Discovery will be interesting.

Incorrect. Being fired for misconduct means being fired for misconduct. Not because the president doesn't like you.

More accurately - punishment for misleading statements, aka, lying.
So, you think it's fine for Mueller's team to charge people for misleading statements, but if McCabe does it, NBD?

U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu has recommended moving forward with charges against Andrew McCabe, Fox News has learned, as the Justice Department rejects a last-ditch appeal from the former top FBI official.

McCabe -- the former deputy and acting director of the FBI -- appealed the decision of the U.S. attorney for Washington all the way up to Jeffrey Rosen, the deputy attorney general, but he rejected that request, according to a person familiar with the situation.

The potential charges relate to DOJ inspector general findings against him regarding misleading statements concerning a Hillary Clinton-related investigation.

A source close to McCabe’s legal team said they received an email from the Department of Justice which said, "The Department rejected your appeal of the United States Attorney’s Office’s decision in this matter. Any further inquiries should be directed to the United States Attorney’s Office."
